I was born and grew up in Athens Greece.

I graduated from the 3rd Medical Faculty of Charles University, Prague, in 1998 and continued through my first PhD studies under the guidance of Prof. MUDr R. Rokyta.

I returned to Greece, passed DOATAP examinations for recognition of my diplomas and served as a countryside general physician at P.I. Livadion, H.C. of Anogia.

I started specializing in Surgery at the General Hospital of Chania. Continuously, I was transferred to the University Hospital of Heraklion in the department of Surgical Oncology, under Prof. D. Tsiftsis.

There, I had the luck to meet my mentor, Andreas Manios, who helped me do my first steps in Plastic Surgery. Under his guidance and the help of professor Eelco de Bree, I acquired my second PhD. title.

I completed Plastic Surgery training in KAT general Hospital, Athens and passed successfully the state examinations. I worked for one year as an attending physician in the department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of Hygeia Hospital, Athens.

I acquired my subspecialty (fDAFPRS) in facial plastic surgery by the fellowship of the Dutch Association for Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Erasmus Medical center, Rotterdam and in the Royal Free London NHS.

I had the honor of meeting excellent teachers during that period. I undertook successfully the European Boards of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery examinations and was granted the title of fellow EBOPRAS.

My plastic surgery private practice is in Athens.

I’m married to Manolis Pateromichelakis and we have 3 children
